Born: Brooklyn, NY 1954
Raised: Grew up on Long Island, higher ed in Wisconsin and Massachusetts, moved to CA then IA.
Story: When I was a very small kid, I learned to talk like Donald Duck. When people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would say I wanted to be a lawn mower (the machine that actually cuts the lawn, not the person who runs it).
