| Born: Carson City, MI, 1980 |
|
| Raised: Grew up in Ithaca, Michigan. Lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan for a while. Then moved to Iowa. |
|
| Story: I was always surrounded by music. My mom is a singer and arranger of 4-part Barbershop harmony in the Sweet Adelines. My two older brothers were in Rock bands almost my entire life. It wasn’t long before I started plunking things out on the piano. All through school I was involved in concert band, marching band, and jazz band, switching between a selection of instruments. Later, I ventured into composing and recording by writing the musical scores for several movies which I co-directed. After enjoying a couple successful bands in Michigan, I headed west to Iowa where, after meeting Shannon and Walter, I found myself on the Holiday Road. |
